Welcome to New Natives, located in Freedom, CA. Since 1980, we've grown microgreens using only organic seed, soil, and natural inputs—no chemicals. Certified by CCOF and Real Organic, we're committed to true, soil-based organic farming.

Our Practices
Over the last 40 years, we have grown thousands of pounds of microgreens using organic seed, natural sunlight only, clean water, lots of fresh air, and nothing more. Growing microgreens of high quality using natural elements is very important to us. With a strong commitment to sustainable, responsible, and safe food production methods, we have been organic certified by CCOF since 1982, and don't use any chemicals or pesticides of any kind. All of our seeds are certified organically grown. We take extra care in tending our soil, composting whatever is left over after each harvest, so that all the nutrients get cycled back through to nourish the next generation of plants.
We balance things further by growing a mixture of crops, such as peas, which add nitrogen back into the soil, from which other plants benefit. Healthy soil makes for healthy crops, which makes for healthy bodies! The stability of greenhouse production makes our microgreens available during every season. From germination to delivery, our microgreens are handled with love and care.
